If you have important data that is too important to lose, keeping backups copies should be a no-brainer. It can be a simple matter of copying files from one place to another, but even simple tasks such as this can be easy to forget or it may seem unimportant when focusing on more pressing tasks. IvyBackup can take care of this job all by itself, so you don't have to worry about keeping your files safe. It is quite flexible when it comes to scheduling backups and even more flexible when it comes to the types of backups you can set up.

The software is free to try, without any significant functionality restrictions. It is compatible with all popular Windows versions and it doesn't need any special tools or services. Also, you can install the program in just a few seconds, without making any complicated settings.

IvyBackup lets you create one or more backup job and run them separately. They are displayed in a list, on the main user interface, and you can run, edit and delete them or create new ones, by clicking the options on a toolbar. Furthermore, you can filter your jobs, if you wish to see active, failed, running, scheduled or disabled jobs and warnings, by selecting one of the filters presented in a tree structure, on the left side of the interface.

New jobs can be created on a separate window, where you can find a wide range of useful options. Creating a job is a step-by-step process, though you don't necessarily have to go through each step. Besides naming a job and specifying the source and destination folders, you can also set up filters, to include or exclude certain file types and it is also possible to define actions that are to be carried out immediately after a backup. What's more, the software can be set to store your backups in the cloud, rather than local folders.

Of course, setting up a schedule is another possibility and it has to be mentioned that IvyBackup doesn't fail to impress in this department. You can set the program to execute your job once, at a certain time and date, but you can also set it to repeat the job every day, week or on certain days. Furthermore, you can choose between different backup types, like full, incremental and differential.

With your backup jobs created, you can decide to let the software run in the background and run them automatically, according to your schedules, but you can also run them manually or rush a job's automated task, if you've defined one. There are many useful features to explore, which can make your day significantly easier.

With IvyBackup running on your computer, you will never have to worry about backing up your data again.

Pros

You can set up multiple backup jobs and run them separately. The software is quite flexible when it comes to what type of backup you want to create and how to schedule it. It can store your backups in local folders or in the cloud.

Cons

There are no serious complaints to have with IvyBackup.
